Everybody is a Star

This was done with acrylic paint and pen on illustration board. I love working this way and have done several pieces using this technique. My intention was to rub off the paint to get texture and then go back into it with pen, but so far I've liked the outcome enough to not rub the paint off.

Hi, Kimberly.

I tried to email you with this message, but it just got returned to me, so I'll pot it here. Please email me.

Hi, Kimberly,

I am the webmistress of a new blog that is connected with a special podcast form a radio station out of Boston. It's a well-known show with a large, global audience. We are making the podcast episodes transcripts available to people who want to read them. It's a pretty fun, exciting project. I use some kind of image on every post, most of them from Wikimedia Commons or from the interviewees. But the one I am posting today called for a red bird in my mind, and I couldn't find what I was looking for anywhere. I did a Google image search and found a really great image, artwork by you. May I please post an image of it on the blog, with credit to you and a link to your home page?

This is what I will do. I will post it and you can see what you think. If you want me to take it down, let me know and I'll do so later today. If you're okay with it, then hopefully as our listeners start frequenting the blog, it will provide you with more traffic (and hopefully some sales) as well.

Thanks for reading this. I hope you'll be willing to show your red bird. He's really great.

The URL for the blog is:

The title you'll be looking for is "Goodbye to the God Show."

Take care,
Georgia
